India’s Response to EU’s CBAM UPSC

The EU’s newly introduced policy instrument known as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is designed to tackle climate change and promote responsible trading relationships. But CBAM may have some impact on exports of Indian products especially steel cement aluminium products etc. To counter the CBAM, India could consider the following potential countermeasures:
