Efficiency of Gram Nyayalayas UPSC

The Supreme Court questioned the practicality of organising Gram Nyayalayas given the insufficient infrastructure of regular courts. The Law Commission of India proposed the established order of Gram Nyayalayas in its 114th Report to ensure less costly and easy access to justice for rural citizens.
